Seriously, I think this question, while completely hypothetical, is a little demeaning. My personal value is that you should never rely on anyone for anything. At all. And subsequently, never have anyone (other than your children) rely on you.”Neither a borrower nor a lender be” has always been my mentality.
$100,000 is a hell of a lot of money. I got nearly $2000 back from my tax return and I’m still baffled about having that kind of cash. I put more than half into savings to achieve my new years resolution of saving a grand! That being said, I wouldn’t know what to do with myself. I’d probably have a ridiculously boring marriage, fly over to Europe and have torrid affairs with Frenchmen, fly back and join the peace corps for character building.
I’d be a trainwreck.
Seriously, kids. Never rely on anyone. No eggs. No basket. You can be in love with them and love them as a person and all that wonderful bullshit, but never become financially dependent on them. It will fuck you both over.
